Terms and Conditions - Boutique Beach House

 

Agreement This agreement is between the Hirer and the Property Owner.

Payment For bookings made within 2 months of your holiday start date, please pay the full amount plus damage deposit. For a booking made more than 2 months before your holiday start date, please provide a deposit of one third of the rental cost. The balance plus the deposit is then due 2 months prior to the holiday start date.

Balance PaymentUpon payment of the deposit and subject to acceptance of the booking, the applicant becomes liable for the balance  2 months before the holiday start date. If the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Linen and towelsWe provide bed linen including sheets, duvets, pillows, duvet covers and pillow cases. We do not provide pillows or blankets for the cot. We also provide towels for the house and beach towels. We provide tea towels and an oven glove.

Gas, Electricity & WI-FI
The rental cost is inclusive of all gas, electricity and WI-FI

Sleeping Capacity
 The property can sleep 12 people. The bunk bed room and top floor twin are designed for children - but can accommodate adults. The property may not be occupied by persons other than those named on the booking form. The hirer shall not part with possession of the property or share it except with members of the party named on the booking form.

Availability
This Contract is made on the understanding that the property will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events arising out of the control of the Property Owner, the Property Owner may be forced to cancel the booking. The Hirer will be advised of such circumstances as early as possible and the Property Owner will refund all monies paid in full but the Hirer will have no further claims against the Property Owner.

NeighboursThe Hirer and other members of the party must not cause an annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of the neighbouring properties.

Rental period
The property will be available from 4.00 on the start date of your holiday and terminate at 10am on the finish date of your holiday. Under no circumstances may the Hirer enter the property or use the parking spaces before 4.00pm on the commencement date and the property and parking spaces must be vacated by 10am on the termination date - unless otherwise notified by the owners.

Damage Deposit  We don't take a damage deposit. 
All bookings are accepted on the condition that the property is left clean and tidy and any major breakages or damage will be paid for by the person who made the booking.

Access
The Property Owner or their representatives shall be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during the holiday occupancy.

Pets and SmokingWe do allow dogs on the understanding that they are not  allowed upstairs or on any of the furniture, and that they have been treated for fleas before they come. We should also warn you that  many of the local beaches have a dog ban between Easter and  October. We can however advise you of alternative beaches  for  your dog. We make a charge of £35 per dog. Please let us know on booking. The property is strictly non-smoking.

Vehicles and personal belongings
We can provide parking for 2 cars. 2 spaces in front of the house.The cars need to be parked so that the wheels do not overhang the white line or you may get a parking ticket and please don’t overhang our neighbours drive. There may be parking cones that need to be moved. (People do just use parking randomly in St Ives so feel free to use them if you go out).

Baggage and personal belongings, including vehicles, are at the Hirer’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss of or damage to such items.

Safety We take our guests safety very seriously. On arrival at the property please check the property for exits in an emergency and any possible hazards for you or your family/guests. It is vitally important that you read the specific safety information provided at the property.

Building works The Property Owner cannot be held responsible for any buildings or road works carried out near the property. In the unlikely event that we are aware of any future works we will let you know in advance.

Insurance We recommend that the Hirer takes out insurance to cover the cost of events such as losses, damage to personal belongings and cancellation.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation being received in writing more than 60 days before the start of the holiday, the Property Owner will endeavour to re-let the property and, if successful, will refund any monies. If the property is not re-let for any reason, the original Hirer is liable for the whole of the rental amount. If the booking is cancelled less than 60 days from the start date the Hirer will remain legally liable to pay the full balance.

Liability The Property Owner shall have no liability for any death or personal injury unless this results from the negligence of the Property Owner.

Right to refuse bookings and terminate contracts We reserve the right to refuse bookings from a. groups of people under the age of 25 and/or b. hen or stag parties. Please inform us if your party falls into these conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking, or take back possession of the property, where a guests behaviour, in our reasonable opinion, is deemed anti-social or aggressive. We also reserve the right to take back possession of the property if we believe damage is likely to be or is being caused.

Withdrawal of Facilities : We reserve the right to change or withdraw amenities or facilities or activities without prior notice, where reasonably necessary due to repairs, maintenance, weather conditions and circumstances beyond our control. We make every effort to maintain the standard of the property and the equipment within it. However no guarantee is given or liability accepted if breakdown occurs. Repairs will be made as soon as possible.
